Small/Medium - front or back or both gardens can be judged in this category with a variety of plants, grass and recreation areas. A small pond for wildlife and the environment, saving water for use on the garden can be made nice features

2. LARGE PRIVATE GARDENS
Large - front or back or both gardens can be judged in this category with a variety of plants, grass and recreation areas. A pond for wildlife and the environment, saving water for use on the garden can be made nice features

3. YARD / CONTAINER GARDENS
3. Yard / Container - Growing spaces in houses without grass but ideally using a variety of containers and growing materials for flowers and plants. We will judge vegetables if used as part of the display. We are looking for variety and colour and use of recycleable items for growing and quirky ideas.

4. HANGING BASKETS
Hanging Baskets - Great use of colour can be seen in these both in private and commercial properties. Good full baskets brimming with colour and variety. We do not judge artificial flowers.

5. ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation - This can be a mix of pots , small garden areas , terraces , and recreation areas to display around your accommodation.

6. PUB & TOURIST
Pub/Tourist - We are looking for colour and welcoming themes using the whole of your outdoor areas with colour and variety, raised beds and pots all can be included. Why not consider this years theme in a area of your display?

7. SCHOOLS / COLLEGES
Schools/Colleges- We are looking for growing areas as well as planted areas that children have been involved in, recycle use of materials and small displays are always good especially as themes. Raised beds and use of unusual items. Why not incorporate this years theme in colour?

8. THEME
Theme - Imagination and colour by use of mixed variety of plants always draws imagination and smiles. Do something different that is bright and warming.
Our theme this year is The Queen's Platinum Jubilee

9. COMMUNITY
Community - Show your community areas off with growing areas, seating, social events with plenty of colour and variety. Consider growing produce that can be used for the community and place blocks of colour in plants around the area. Environment, recycling, use of water conservation are all good things to consider.
