Help Us To Make Blackpool Beautiful
A LITTLE HISTORY
Blackpool in bloom started over 20 years ago with Cllr Kath Rowson and was continued on by friends of Stanley Park until five years ago when Blackpool Federation of Allotments took it on.
It originally was to bring colour to the town and has since evolved into the 9 groups of judging as it is now which we hope captures the wide range of community, school, business and home life in the town
We want to encourage more businesses all around the town and the many community groups as well to get involved and shjow off your beautiful gardens.
Brilliant news...It's FREE to enter!
Have you thought about entering your street? Why not get a group of you together and help make Blackpool beautiful.

JUDGING
Judging takes place over several days in July by a team of volunteers who work to a criteria in scoring based on your display which can we wide , use of variety colour and ideas including water conservation, recycling all scores points so have a think as you plan this years display
Theme - The Queen's Platinum Jubilee
We have included a different theme year on year and this can just be by using colour or items incorporated in your display or you can of course just enter your lovely garden or pots and tubs along with your  baskets within the theme

AND FINALLY
2022 will be slightly different as we move out of the last 2 years pandemic as we get people to enter again and hope everyone will enjoy being involved.
We haven't yet decided on how we will conduct the awards but over the coming weeks we will be asking for your feedback and how you may want this years to be.
